Strategic Writing & Marketing Skills
Short Form Content
The average reader scans vs. reads every word, spending about 45 seconds on a website page. Short form content helps to connect and engage with audiences vs. long form, which educates and informs.

Long Form Content
Long form content, typically 2,000 words in length, is content that makes for an insightful and compelling read. Long form content is in demand. When Google has a choice to show two articles for the same keyword, it will often choose one that a reader will take longer to read and therefore spend more time on a website. Additionally, the longer the content, the more shares.

Blogs for Content Marketing
Content marketing is the exchange of useful content to an audience in return for their attention. Content can take on many forms, and a blog is one example. The goal of a brand is to attract and engage with an audience interested in the content, and ultimately their product or service.

Newsletters for Email Marketing
Email Newsletter Creation - "Spring Forecast: Longer Days & Chile's Atacama Travel Ahead"

Email newsletters are important tactics within a greater content marketing strategy. They are an essential way to bring value and build trust with readers and targeted audiences.
Email Newsletter Creation - "Peru Yoga and Wellness Program"
This newsletter content was written during my WDC Internship at Lost World Adventures. Email newsletters are a significant aspect of marketing today. Email marketing builds relationships with customers. While the relationship is a fragile one built on trust, it is also measurable by tracking progress and looking at conversion rates and sales.
Blog/Email/Curation & Editing for Long Tail Content
Here is an example of my editing skills. The "Estero del Ibera - Argentinian Mesopotamia" article was written by a non-native English speaker. I heavily edited the article and wrote a blog for long tail content consumption. This was completed for my WDC Internship at Lost World Adventures.
